Little toys are very cute, and I like them very much. Now I will tell you how to make a little wolf using wool and a felting needle.

You will need a bunch of lamb wool of light gray, black, white, brown and yellow colors. You’ll also need a felting needle, hairy craft wire, wire pliers, a felting mat and a picture of a wolf to imagine your work clearly. Action sequence is the following: making a wire armature, needle felting a thin stratum of wool around the wire, adding muscles and details.

To make the armature, cut 3 scraps of wire for legs and for tail-spine-skull part and bend each apart. Bend the edges to make them obtuse. Join the legs and the tail-spine-skull, twisting one scrap of the wire around the other. Needle felt the light gray wool around the wire. Put more wool on the ribs. Go on felting around the legs and the head, felting one pair of legs with white wool. To make muscles put the thicker stratum of gray wool on the tail and the right leg. Use white wool to clothe the interior side with thicker stratum. If you wish, you can add a bit of white wool on the tail and the chest. Also use white wool to make the nose and the jaw.

Making the ears. Needle felt a little gray triangle form with a bit of black wool. Folding it into the ear, fasten it to the head. Use black wool to make a mouth and a nose tip. Black parts of the nose and the mouth are connected. Attach black and brown wool to the tail and to the sides. You can leave some wool unfelted to make your wolf fluffier. Make a black base for the eyes. Then attach yellow eyes and a black pupil. Using black wool, attach toes under the paws.

If you wish, you can add more detail or use different colors to make a black or a white wolf.
